Transformational Coaching

A World of Change

Change is what this world is all about ~ weather and seasons, careers, relationships, life direction... All of these change over time.

You may find yourself readily embracing some changes, while resisting others. Curiously, the opposite response, embracing our resistance to change and looking at what is beneath the reaction, provides an avenue to reignite our energy, creativity and enthusiasm. This approach enables us to perceive the gifts and strengths that are often hidden at first glance and builds our competence to adapt to changes of all kinds with flexibility and a measure of grace and ease.

Reimagine your life where you transform your relationship with change and see it as a gift. How would that feel? Where could you go in your life? What would you do?

Stories

We tell others (and ourselves) stories about who we are and all sorts of things. It’s how we relate to others. In some cases, we get so invested in our stories that we forget our true essence and our unique gifts, talents and wisdom.

Our stories are invitations to listen, look within and learn about our beliefs, experiences and judgments and remember our beauty, gifts and innate wisdom. As a weaver of our life, each story can be seen as a unique thread or pattern that, by itself, may seem undesirable or out of place. However, when we step back and see the whole tapestry, we see how each thread, each color, blends to create the life we have and are growing into.

Our lives are ever evolving, as is our life tapestry. What are your gifts and strengths? How are you using them?

Transitional Spaces

In these times we can feel lost, in limbo, dwelling in liminal (transitional) spaces where we aren’t sure where to go. The old part of us is dissolving (like the caterpillar in the cocoon) while the new part has not yet come into clarity or form (the butterfly has yet to emerge and fly).

There can be a sense of a light at the end of the tunnel, but we’re not sure how long it will take to get there.

“Be not afraid of growing slowly;
be afraid only of standing still.”

Taking the Leap (Trust)

The more we reframe our stories and beliefs about who we are, the more we open to possibilities aligned with our deeper knowing and sense of self. There are times when we know we need to trust and take that leap to the next place. I find it helpful to remember that deciding not to decide is also a decision. It’s just one that might keep you from discovering, living and sharing the beauty of your unique, authentic self. The world needs YOU.

So, Choose! Choose something that makes your heart sing. And have fun! Play! Make course corrections along the way so your life path becomes clearer, aligned with your heart, and your soul’s calling or mission.
